Esther is the founding partner of Sarimana -Takawira Attorneys. She graduated from the University of Zimbabwe and qualified as a legal practitioner, conveyancer and notary public in 2006. Esther is a seasoned lawyer with 17 years of experience, specializing in Commercial Law, Labour Law, and Family law.

  • After graduating, Esther joined Coghlan and Welsh, where she honed her skills and developed her expertise under the guidance of a now Supreme Court judge.
  • Corporate Practice: After leaving Coghlan and Welsh, Esther transitioned into corporate practice, where she was employed by a Financial Institution as in-house counsel expanding her skill set and gaining valuable experience in commercial law and practices.
  • Sarimana-Takawira Attorneys: At the beginning of 2025 Esther founded Sarimana-Takawira Attorneys.
  • ⁠The firm focuses on delivering exceptional service, sound legal advice, and effective solutions to clients.

Expertise and Notable Clients:

  • Commercial Law: Esther has represented mining entities, municipalities, commercial firms, parastatals, hospitals, and telecommunication companies in various disputes and in the superior courts of Zimbabwe. She has also assisted companies and individuals with legal opinions, contracts, conveyancing and various commercial transactions.
  • Labour Law: Her expertise extends to labour law, with experience handling cases for various employers and employees in different tribunals and courts.
  • Family Law: Esther also specializes in family law, providing guidance and representation to individuals.

Board Memberships and Community Involvement:

  • Whitestone School: Esther has served on the board of Whitestone School.
  • Bulawayo Lawyers Association: Esther served on the board of the Bulawayo Lawyers Association.
  • Mater Dei Hospital She is on the Mater Dei Hospital’s board.
  • ⁠Zimbabwe Football Association Appeals: Additionally, Esther sits on the appeals board of the Zimbabwe Football Association.
